The Project

AITutor, a robust and comprehensive online mathematics platform, was looking to refine their website's user experience and aesthetics. They provide a suite of services ranging from video tutorials and exam-style practice questions to detailed analytics that track student progress​​. Despite the robust offerings, AITutor found themselves devoting substantial resources to their homepage, blog, and sales pages – a task that was proving to be increasingly demanding and detracting from their primary goal: enhancing the learning experience for GCSE and A-Level maths students.

They sought a more streamlined and modern approach to their non-user-specific webpages to attract potential subscribers, without compromising the integrity of the logged-in user experience. Voltaire Labs, with our history of creating elegant and efficient web solutions, was engaged to undertake this task.

Voltaire Labs proposed a strategy that would allow AITutor to focus on what they do best: delivering a top-notch learning experience. We recommended a distinct separation of responsibilities - AITutor would continue to develop the personalised, logged-in user experience, while Voltaire Labs took on the challenge of revamping the logged-out website experience, including the homepage, blog, and sales pages.

This approach has been a game-changer for many of our clients. By separating the logged-in and logged-out experiences, companies can effectively halve their workload, allowing for more focused and specialised development on each side. We set out to create a website that was not only visually appealing but also optimised for conversion. The decision to separate the logged-in and logged-out experiences proved to be a masterstroke, allowing AITutor to concentrate their efforts on perfecting their core offering.
